Long Range Planning

With wide stakeholder input and use of research and data, long-range planning can define programming needs, goals, and objectives and can provide recommendations to improve services and resources.  A Long Range Information and Technology Plan is a requirement for districts under state and national laws.  The plan is to address how well the library and technology program of the district meets the needs of students and staff and to plan for the future.  Districts are now required to have a range of board-approved policies in the plan.  DPI has provided a range of planning documents and resources.
